Since my Art Explorer’s Night Photography seminar went so well, I was asked if I would do another. I think giving workshops and seminars may become a source of income for my photography business that could rival what I get from Stock Photography.
Here’s the information for my new workshop. Let me know if you think you might like to attend. The price is a very reasonable $30. Here’s the Art Explorer’s announcement…
No matter what your skill level, or what camera you have, there are simple techniques you can use to turn your snapshots into Art. Wow your family, friends, co-workers with your new photographic skills! Just in time for the Holidays!
Join me for an outdoor workshop to improve your portrait photos. We’ll cover:
• Making the best use of available light.
• How to Compose your photo.
• How to Pose your subjects.
• Making the most of the location and backgrounds.
Bring ANY type of digital camera. Only have a phone camera? Great. Have a point-and-shoot? Wonderful. Have a Digital SLR? Cool.
We’ll meet at Scottsdale Civic center (Entrance at E. Main St. and N. Brown Avenue Next to the Mexican Imports shop) for two hours. There’s plenty of parking in Old Town Scottsdale. Here’s a map to the location:
> Everyone will take turns being in everyone else’s photos so we have hands-on practice. If you’d like to bring a family member or two who are willing to pose, feel free to bring them along (send me a note when you RSVP so I know how many people to expect).
> The small-sized class means that everyone will get personalized help and attention!
Register and pay ($30) on line at: http://www.chriscurtisphotography.com/seminar/register.html
If you prefer to pay cash in person, please send me a note when you RSVP so I know. If paying in person, please bring the exact amount in cash.
> Just in time for taking those Holiday photos – impress your family and friends with your new-found skills!
